A Guide For The T-Girl Visiting Central Florida!


 

 

 

You're away from home, visiting central Florida with no place to go!

 

You spent time getting your outfit together. You've done a painstaking effort in accessorizing. The hair is nicely coifed. Your makeup application comes out beautifully. You look in the mirror and, even in your most critical eye, you like what you see.

 

What to do?

 

Simply grab your purse and GO!

 

If you want to experience the central Florida t-girl lifestyle, knowing that you're going out to a t-friendly place can make all the difference.

 

Below I've listed a few T-friendly establishments for us girls who wish to experience life beyond the four safe walls, but are want a non-traumatic experience.

Suncoast offers a complete experience within the safety of the complex!

A very nice restaurant. Suncoast has several bars including a tiki bar, piano bar, and disco.  Even some shopping!  Also swimming pool and tennis!

If you plan to stay over, get the lesser expensive rooms facing AWAY from the courtyard. They are not only cheaper, but quieter.

The very best drag show around! 
Similar but a little seedier than Suncoast Resort (see above). 

P-House also has nice restaurant, several bars including a leather bar, outside bars, and a hugo disco.  Even some shopping!  Also swimming pool and tennis!

If you plan to stay over, avoid the rooms facing the lake. (unless you want get "cruised"!)

A big place with several bars  and a courtyard to get away from all the (cough, cough!) smokers. Still the home of the hilarious Carmela Marcella Garcia. Try and catch her act.

Small hip lounge in the gay ViMi district. Mixed crowd of gays, straights and the occasional t-girl. Sometimes there's live music. Try the cosmopolitans! Yum!

Boys and girls almost but not quite sharing the same bar. Enter and go left to find the gay guys.  Go right to find the lesbians. Or just go around in circles and mingle!

Top flight gourmet restaurant that's EXTREMELY T-friendly.  Some of the best meals you'll ever eat! A little pricey,  but worth ever penny.

A nice little restaurant on antiques row. Frequented by the GLBT community. The unusual decor. T-friendly environment and fine food make this place a keeper.

A bit more mainstream than most other restaurants reviewed, but still a lovely place. The moussaka is scrumptious and the salads are yummy! Prices are reasonable.
