Dear Sydney,

Is there a particular style of evening gowns that would make me look more feminine – something to disquise my broad shoulders?

Look for an evening gown that draws attention to your assets and away from your broad shoulders. So if you’ve got a tiny waist, show it off with a dress that draws the eye to the middle of your torso. Tall? Shop for a curve-hugging style like a sheath or mermaid that plays up your height. Can’t give up the idea of a strapless? Cover your shoulders with a matching shawl!
