Comedy Is Queen!

Example One: Eddie Izzard – Currently the star of his is own upcoming television series on the FX Network, and Emmy award winning comedian.  Because Eddie matter-of-factly tells everyone he’s a transvestite, nobody really cares.  The public accepts him as a talent, whether he is wearing men’s clothes or women’s – it just doesn’t matter! Talent prevails, Eddie is honest that he’s a crossdresser and non-transgendered people become accustomed to us!

Example Two: In the mid 1990’s the Drew Carey Show hit television airwaves and was a huge success. In 2000, actor John Carroll Lynch portrayed Drew’s brother Steve, who was a crossdresser. When Steve was Stephanie, his crossdressing self, the other characters on the show treated him exactly the same.  He was Steve and he was a crossdresser – that was it.  Inadvertently, audiences who watched the show week after week began realizing that crossdressing was a part of that person’s makeup, and because the character on the show was accepted by his friends, audiences became enlightened.

These changes in people’s perception occur over a long period of time.  Many of us at TG LIFE believe that acceptance itself can’t be legislated.  Laws that protect your rights can come from legislation, but acceptance can’t.  Time changes people’s perception for the better or the worse.  A well written television show or a proud talented comedian can inadvertently cause the general population to see us in an entirely different light!

NEWS!

Because of our upscale appearance and displaying US in a good light, TG LIFE is now breaking ground with new companies that have never been associated with the transgendered world.

For years only TG based advertisers would sponsor ads in transgendered publications, whether they be in print or on the net.  When I published GIRL TALK Magazine in print, we broke new ground with companies advertising that had never sought out the TG market.  We at TG LIFE are doing the same thing.

That’s not to mean that you shouldn’t purchase from companies that are TG owned.  On the contrary, they deserve your support!  What it does mean is that you don’t have to worry about purchasing from any of the businesses you see on TG LIFE.  They are expecting you to visit, or email or call. Most companies in the world are beginning to see us as clients and customers. They want our business and you do owe them at least a look at their site for being here – believe me, there’s some new and exciting products out there!
I sincerely hope you are enjoying TG LIFE as much as I am and see you soon!

Get Dressed, Get Out, Be Safe and Have Fun!
