Momentum

Oh oh - It’s time again for ‘Reverend’ Lance to do a bit of preaching!

As the New Year continues this is the perfect time to make up your mind about who you are, especially if you have been struggling with the fact that you are a crossdresser or transsexual. Now is the time to free yourself, and finally get rid of the guilt and anxiety that isn’t necessary, but often accompanies the realization that you are transgendered.  There is nothing wrong with you and being TG is nothing to be ashamed of. Get a hold of the situation, face your fears head on, and come to grips with the fact that if you do like to dress –it’s not a problem unless you make it one.  If you need help, contact a local group or make your way to one of the several conventions listed in the current feature article.  You can make friends, and, make yourself whole! That’s a good way to begin 2009.

And if you are the veteran CD or TS, remember what’s it like when you first came out, and lend a helping hand.  I always say that nothing will make you feel better about yourself, than to help another TG in reaching their goal of self-acceptance!

Views

Recently I received a series a stories about several arrests made of seven crossdressers in Stabroek, Guyana – basically for just crossdressing.  Now I thought South American people in general were a bit more sensible than that, until I read some of the views voiced by local citizens concerning what had occurred.  That’s when I realized how backwards thinking some of the locals there really were!

After speaking with columnist Sara Bharrat of the Stabroek News, she also stated to me how she couldn’t even believe some of these quotes she was getting from various people on the street and told me she planned an article on crossdressing just to help inform the locals and dispel mistruths!  Good for her! I offered her any help I can give.

Just in case you really want to get your ire up, check out some of the ‘man in the street’ interviews Sara did right HERE.

Odd News

If you’re worn out trying to figure out how to hide your broad shoulders in that fashionable new gown – guess what?  Shades of Dynasty, the 1980’s and Linda Evans… shoulder pads are coming back in Fall 2009 Runway shows.  Check out this latest look from Marc Jacobs that was just shown at Fashion Week in NYC.

FYI

In case you have ANY questions about hormones and how to deal with doctors and prescriptions, my good friend David Meyer at Express Medicine just told me he’s been helping many girls personally on the phone with answers to their questions.  Now David’s not a doctor, but he does know about prescription drugs and can offer his knowledge when making your purchase.  He is VERY TG Friendly and he’d love to hear from you – just call him toll free at 888-380-3779.

You can also read David’s interview with TG LIFE right HERE!
